It was distilled in an Alambic Charentais (pot still).\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003c!-- po:marketing:start --\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e1975 is the only vintage we picked in three crus: Bons Bois, Fins Bois and Petite Champagne. The Bons Bois has the most acidity, plus plenty of oak, and that is what makes it so lively. Next to the other two 1975s you can see how differently one year can turn out. For anyone who likes freshness and oak together.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTwo years ago Lhéraud filled small sample bottles of all 35 vintages in its cellar for Nicolas Kröger and me. After a three-hour session in Vienna and many more rounds at home, we picked our 15 favourites, and Lhéraud bottled 12 of each in 20 cl as a limited edition exclusive to Armagnac.de.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eLhéraud normally bottles its vintages only in the house's black, mouth-blown bottle. At 20 cl it is much easier to open an old vintage, taste two or three side by side or give someone their birth year. Each bottle comes in a black gift box with Lhéraud, the cru and “Sélection 2026” embossed in gold and the vintage in blue handwriting.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBottled at cask strength, with no additives and without chill filtration.
