Tasting Notes:
- On the nose: sweet acacia honey, beeswax candles, Mirabelle plums and apricots, accented with a subtle note of vanilla. Accompanied by fresh herbs and floral notes.
- On the palate, the delicate sweetness of honey and the bright fruitiness of Mirabelle plums and apricots are balanced by a bittersweet note of chocolate.
Grape of the Art writes about Danis in 1988: " Are you also tired of these dark, gray and cold winter days? Are you missing the sun and craving for the warm sun rays to warm your skin and soul?
Let our Golden Saint Bernard salvage your senses from the darkness and rough winds and take you with a single sip into an enchanting spring landscape, waving with scents of bright fruits, blossoming flowers and fresh herbs!
Imagine the creaminess of silky beeswax, acacia honey and vanilla tantalising your palate! Welcome the sparkling fruitiness of ripe apricots and mirabelles, meaning the first harbingers of the hot days to come!
After 33 years in a wet cellar the delicateness and sweetness of this liquid gold is rounded off by a gentle chocolate bitterness, while the quaffable 47.9% cask strength gives plenty of room to explore!"
