Dieser Armagnac wurde 1987 auf Domaine de Lamarquette aus Baco in Bas Armagnac, Frankreich hergestellt.

Die Domaine liegt in Castandet auf sandy soils und umfasst 3 hectares.

Er reifte für 36 Jahre und wurde 2023 von Darroze in Fassstärke mit 49% abgefüllt. Für die Destillation wurde eine Alambic Armagnacais (Column Still) verwendet.

Armagnac Darroze schreibt zur Domaine de Lamarquette: "Domaine de Lamarquette has belonged to the Martres family for generations; a member of the most recent generation is also a well known French economist. The estate is located west of the Bas Armagnac terroir, on the edge of the Landes forest. The union of tawny sandy terroir and the baco grape produces particularly fine armagnacs."
