Fontan 1996 Brut de Fûts 27ans 50cl (2023)

Dieser Armagnac wurde 1996 von Maison Fontan aus Ugni Blanc Trauben in Bas Armagnac, Frankreich hergestellt.

Er reifte für 27 Jahre im Fass und wurde 2023 in Fassstärke mit 53,2% abgefüllt. Für die Destillation wurde eine Alambic Armagnacais (Column Still) verwendet.

Brut de Fût heißt: kein Wasser. Nach 27 Jahren im Fass kam der 1996er 2023 mit seinen natürlichen 53,2 % in die Flasche. In der Nase Rancio und Walnuss, am Gaumen Tonkabohne.

Fontan empfiehlt ihn zu Schokoladendessert oder Walnusskuchen mit Karamell.

Maison Fontan

Die Familie Fontan bewirtschaftet die Ferme de Maubet in Noulens seit 1907, heute führen die Geschwister Sylvain und Nadège Fontan den Betrieb nahe Eauze. Armagnac ist nur rund ein Zehntel der Produktion: 100 % Ugni Blanc aus dem Alambic Armagnacais, gereift in Fässern aus schwarzer Gascogne-Eiche der Tonnellerie Bartholomo.
