Dieser Armagnac wurde 2006 von Maison Fontan aus Ugni Blanc Trauben in Bas Armagnac, Frankreich hergestellt.

Er reifte für 17 Jahre im Fass und wurde 2023 in Fassstärke mit 44,3% abgefüllt. Für die Destillation wurde eine Alambic Armagnacais (Column Still) verwendet.

17 Jahre im Fass, danach unreduziert abgefüllt: Der 2006er kam 2023 mit 44,3 % in die Flasche, so wie er aus dem Fass lief. Das ist die mildeste Stärke der drei Brut de Fûts von Fontan.

Maison Fontan

Die Familie Fontan bewirtschaftet die Ferme de Maubet in Noulens seit 1907, heute führen die Geschwister Sylvain und Nadège Fontan den Betrieb nahe Eauze. Armagnac ist nur rund ein Zehntel der Produktion: 100 % Ugni Blanc aus dem Alambic Armagnacais, gereift in Fässern aus schwarzer Gascogne-Eiche der Tonnellerie Bartholomo.
