This Armagnac was made in 1997 by Castarède from Baco, Colombard and Ugni Blanc grapes in Bas Armagnac, France.

It matured in a humid warehouse for 23 years and was bottled in 2022 (02/2022) at drinking strength at 40.0% . An alembic armagnacais (column still) was used for the distillation."

Castarède is one of the oldest Armagnac houses and has been producing Armagnac in Bas since 1832. Due to its long history, Castarède offers a fantastic availability of almost every vintage up to the early years of the 20th century. As a little treat, even the 1893 vintage is available!
