Dieser Rum wurde 2019 von der Secret Caribbean Destillerie aus Zuckerrohrsaft in Martinique hergestellt.

Er reifte für 7 Jahre in Bourbon-Fässern und wurde 2026 für Journal des Kirsch in Fassstärke mit 58% abgefüllt.

Die Abfüllung ist auf 144 Flaschen limitiert.

Was diesen Rum besonders macht: Ein Single Cask von der Insel Martinique, abgefüllt von Kirsch Import für ihre Serie „Journal des Kirsch". Den Namen der Brennerei nennt Kirsch nicht, aber das Gründungsjahr steht im Text: 1842. Wer sich in Martinique-Agricole auskennt, weiß dann schnell, in wessen Fässern hier gereift wurde.

Ein echter Rhum Agricole also, aus frischem Zuckerrohrsaft gebrannt statt aus Melasse. 2019 destilliert, sieben Jahre im Bourbon Barrel gereift und 2026 mit 58 % in Fassstärke abgefüllt, ohne Farbstoff und ohne Kältefiltration. Im Glas ein warmer Honigton, in der Nase Zuckerrohr und Zitrusschale, dahinter Vanille und etwas Würze. Am Gaumen weiches Karamell auf einer klaren Eichennote, der Nachklang trocken und lang.

Für Whisky- und Rum-Trinker, die den Agricole-Stil kennenlernen wollen: frisch und würzig statt schwer und süß, dabei kräftig genug für alle, die Cask Strength gewohnt sind. Limitiert auf 144 Flaschen weltweit.
