Dieser Armagnac wurde 1999 von Domaine de Poutëou aus Folle Blanche Trauben in Bas Armagnac, Frankreich hergestellt.

Er reifte für 25 Jahre im Fass und wurde 2025 (12/2025) in Fassstärke mit 46,5% abgefüllt. Die Abfüllung stammt aus Fass Nr. 163. Für die Destillation wurde eine Alambic Armagnacais (Column Still) verwendet.

Domaine de Poutëou

Domaine de Poutëou liegt in Lannemaignan im Bas-Armagnac. Auf den typischen sables fauves, eisenhaltigen Sandböden, wachsen die beiden klassischen Rebsorten des Hauses: Baco und Folle Blanche. Gebrannt wird jeden Dezember frisch aus dem Alambic Armagnacais, im kontinuierlichen Verfahren. Anschließend reift der Armagnac in Eichenfässern zu 420 Litern in den alten Chais der Familie Tarbe, heute geführt von Marion. Ein unverfälschter, klassischer Bas-Armagnac.
