Dieser Rum wurde von Foursquare aus Melasse in Barbados, Barbados hergestellt.

Er reifte für 15 Jahre in einem Eichenfass und wurde 2023 für Rum Sponge in Trinkstärke mit 50.0% abgefüllt. Für die Destillation wurde eine Pot Still verwendet.

Sponge schreibt zu diesem Rum: "This edition of Notable Age Statements is a 15 year old, multi-vintage Barbados rum from Foursquare Distillery.

It is composed of a 2005 barrel mixed with a 2007 barrel, both of which spent 11 years maturing tropically in Barbados before transfer to the UK. We bottled this half of the mix at an easy quaffing, yet still punchy strength of 50%. It shows off a lot more of the inherent natural coconut sweetness and pulpy, playful exotic fruit notes of this small batch Foursquare.

An ideal and versatile rum, perfect for nosing and sipping on its own, but also packs a hearty core in mixed long drinks and cocktails."
