Wu Dram Clan J. Bally 2010 Rhum Agricole 70cl (2025)

Dieser Rum wurde 2012 von der Diamond Distilelry aus Melasse in Guyana hergestellt.

Er reifte für 14 Jahre in einem Ex-Bourboon Fass (8 Jahre tropisch + 6 Jahre kontinental) und wurde 2026 in Fassstärke mit 57,1% abgefüllt. Für die Destillation wurde die hölzerne Versailles Pot Still verwendet!

Versailles Still
Diese historische, hölzerne Single-Pot-Still ist berühmt für kraftvolle, tief aromatische Demerara-Rums mit enormer Struktur. Kaum eine Brennapparatur weltweit liefert derart dichte, dunkle und charakterstarke Destillate. Kurz gesagt: Oldschool-Rum auf höchstem Niveau.
 
Der Rum wurde 2012 destilliert, reifte zunächst acht Jahre tropisch in Guyana und kam 2020 nach Europa , wo er weitere sechs Jahre im kontinentalen Klima lagerte.
Das Ergebnis: Tiefe, Kraft und Eleganz – perfekt ausbalanciert.

Nase: Karamell, Ingwer, Demerara-Zucker, dunkle Nüsse
Gaumen: Vanille, ein Hauch Mango, frisches Nougat, sanftes Holz, zitrische Frische zum Ende
Abgang: Lang, elegant – extrem animierend zum Nachschenken".
