Dieser Cognac wurde von François Voyer aus Ugni Blanc Trauben in Grande Champagne (Cognac), Frankreich hergestellt.

Er reifte für 94 Jahre in einem Fass aus französischer Eiche und wurde 2023 (07/2023) von Malternative Belgium mit 41.0% abgefüllt. Für die Destillation wurde eine Alambic Charentais (Pot Still) verwendet.

Pieter von Malternative Belgium schreibt zu diesem Cognac: "In the heart of the grande champagne, we visited the Voyer cognac house for the first time in 2021. Where the vineyards whisper their stories to the wind and the grapes grow in the shadow of history, we discovered a treasure of cognacs that have stood the test of time. to endure. It was a memorable day! When this almost hundred-year-old cognac touched my lips, I tasted the history, the joy and the virtue that had been infused into it over the centuries. Every drop was like a journey back in time. As I enjoyed this extraordinary cognac, I couldn't help but smile. Here, in this moment of pure pleasure, time itself was forgotten and the joy of life was celebrated. A smile that embodied the essence of pleasure and virtue. This lady jeanne was kept to cherish and share.

This almost 100-year-old cognac opens with a seductive burst of fruitiness on the nose, with notes of juicy apricots, ripe pears and sun-ripened grapes. A profound complexity unfolds with every sip, with the vibrant fruit notes flowing seamlessly into the refined rancio. The rancio character offers a wonderful depth to the Cognac, with hints of dried figs, walnuts and a subtle earthy undertone. Sweet tobacco, ripened fruit and mint provide a wonderfully complex aftertaste. "

François Voyer's 28 hectares of vineyards are located in the Grande Champagne region, the Premier Cru of Cognac, known for producing eaux-de-vie with aromatic power and qualities suitable for long-term aging. François Voyer Cognac is a family-run Cognac house passionate about every detail of production. The François Voyer cognac house was transferred to its cellar master - Pierre Vaudon - to perpetuate its identity. Their cognacs are served in some of the most renowned restaurants and have won awards in prestigious international competitions. The vineyards are located in Verrières and Ambleville and cognac has been produced since 1870. Their range is classic, with a range of younger expressions, as well as exceptionally old blends and vintage bottles. The House Voyer cherishes traditional knowledge and pays enormous attention to detail. Definitely one of our favorite cognac houses as they succeed brilliantly in raising the bar very high throughout the entire range and bottling absolute uncompromising and very recognizable quality.
